It all seamed ok driving it around , but when I tore it down I found the 90 degree gear box dry and the gears and front shaft destroyed . That was an expencive fix . The motor is in great shape and will get all new gaskets, seals ,paint , valve job and stickers like OEM . Carb and Ignition have already been done .

Sand blasted the out side of the B&S 12hp block out of the dads tractor . Ready to replace the gaskets and seal before repainting .

Always nice when you are assembling clean, freshly painted parts and components. :)

Any challenges keeping the air & abrasive media dry in this weather? I really need to add an air dryer into my compressor setup. :pullhair:

Use a 50' hose laid on the floor to cool the air and condense water vapour , then through a water trap before going to blaster . Seams to work for my small blaster .

Slowly getting there . The availability and quality of decals is amazing . The fancy tube hose ends were in stock at PA.
Today To sand and paint the hydro pump/tank/valve unit .
