Re: Tiller rebuild started
A short rain about 9 am . Tilled a fresh flower bed just now. The rebuilt tiller is awesome. In untilled sod it broke it up without pushing the tractor forward. It would inch along with a slight nudge of the pedal.
We broke out about 50 feet for a new flower bed rain is predicted for this afternoon. Spike Colt - 9 & 10, Case - 108, 118, 444, 446, 448, 646, 646bh, Ingersoll 4016, 4118AH

A tiller with missing tines had the center "ripper" . It was added to the rebuild and set at the same radius depth of the tines. The ripper addition probably created enough drag, holding the tiller from pushing the tractor.
