This just popped up on Facebook Marketplace. Wants are getting in the way of reality. The ad says call for pricing.

Duh, why did I do that?
It is a 1963 or 1964 model 7 or 9 and I bought it to pick up this afternoon.

I know you wouldn't get it unless it's a great deal.

Nice find, they don't come up often, even here, 25 miles from where they were made.

With a lot of research yesterday, in 2012 Tom Arnold posted, at that time, there were no Colt 7's known to exist and very few 9'S.
https://manuals.ccigt.com/OperatorManua ... manual.pdf
Finding any Colt 7 and 9 document was difficult but a parts manual does exist.
Some documents suggest that there were no serial of model numbers on the early tractors. If this tractor ever had one it was probably on a sticker under the ignition switch on the left side of the stearing column.
I have reached out to a few knowlageable people in the Colt world for feed back on year identification.
At this point all that can be assumed is that it is likely a Colt 9 produced in 1963 or 1964.

Nice Spike! Looking forward to seeing what you do with it. Missed this one (35 mins from me) but glad you grabbed it! I have no time for any more projects atm lol.
