Thanks for posting Spike! These sickle bars are the coolest! I can remember back when I was a kid the local farmers would use them to cut the tall grass along the rural roads. I have no need for one but if I came across a deal I couldn't refuse I would buy one.

Looks like a Didier hydra sickle. The good thing here is it is already set up for a Case/Ingersoll. The price is in the range you see these listed for.

For anyone looking for one, they do come up for sale. Haban & Didier made them for a number of brands. Common brands I see them for are Simplicity/Alice Chalmers, Cub Cadet, John Deere, and Wheel Horse. $200-$1200 price range in Midwest. Of course you will need to do some fabricating to fit one up.

Was hoping to have mine on before mid summer, but don't see it happening. :124:

I'd really like one but for some reason I don't like the mid mount. I'd like one in front like a snowblower. There was an interesting walk behind one on marketplace but it was too narrow. Otherwise I'd have gotten it and make it work on front of the 446. :smash: :cheers:
