I honestly didn't expect the flurry of messages. These Case loaders are sought after. 🤷‍♂️

I really hope the new owner will get work done and be happy with it.

Now on to fixing the exhaust on the red one.

I used my 644 lbh to help a neighbor. He sold a few farm implements to include a 8’ duel disc, a two bottom plow, back blade and trip bucket. He had sold the tractor these items were used with and had no use for them. He now sold the implements and needed a way to load them on his trailer. Case 644 to the rescue! I showed up with my bucket forks on and had them all loaded up in less than an hour. The buyer was very impressed with the Case 644 and asked me if I would sell it. I said not in the near future. This GT is so powerful it amazes me all the time. :peace: Harry

The best part is the guy I helped makes some great sausage and he gave me two pounds of Kielbasa. :69: :peace: Harry

Great story @Harry ! I lifted today a Mercruiser 3 litre boat engine with the 644, didn't even stutter.

The tractor was delivered yesterday to the new owner, who lives in the little town not far away from me. I installed a new, better quality, ignition switch, the brake mechanism, and put new vinyl on the seat back cushion. Since I had to take the exhaust off to install the brake, I cleaned the surface rust, treated it with some phosphoric acid based solution, and then gave it a coating of high-temp spray. The guy was really happy with all of that and I was happy that he was happy. I thought the story ended here.

But no. Today my phone rings and he tells me he needs some help. I was afraid the engine blew up or something terrible like that. He says "I did something stupid, I put gas in the hydraulic tank!". Oops! I told him to not run it at all, and went and drained the oil, filled some, ran a little, drained again, and filled up. All good once again. Let's hope it stays well. :D :highfive:

P.S. Here's something funny. The new ignition switch I got this winter when I was working on the tractor was fine when I installed it. But what do you know, exactly before people show up to have a look at the tractor I noticed it would shut off the engine when wiggling the key a little harder. Embarrassing, to say the least. Some items are so low quality, doesn't matter that they're new. The new switch is much better.

Good on you for helping the fella! :highfive: A lot of people would not be accommodating after a sale. I knew it couldn’t be a serious problem after all the great work you’ve done to it.
