I don’t want to hijack your thread. If you had a hydra vac or tiller with no case drain. Where would it be plumbed into the motor of the attachment? Most of my case GT’s and attachments are early before case drains were engineered into them. :peace: Harry

If the motor was set up for a case drain it would have a port for it usually 1/4". Some motors didn't have one and others had it plugged but didn't use it. Low speed motors like the tillers didn't use one because of low rpms and didn't have that high inertia of the implement spinning down after shut off.

On my later model 4016 the case drain hooks up to a fitting in the right side tower. The small right angle fitting to the right is the case drain return. Some older 3000 and 4000 series tractors had the fitting in the same spot but the fitting was a smaller size. I also had an early to mid 90's 3012 which had the return fitting on the side of the TCV. I know cookie asked about case but I figured I'd post this for others reading.

Here is my 3000/4000 series hydravac motor with case drain in the middle.
