Post by Gordy »

Just thought I should check in. Let you know I made it from the other site. For those that don't know me, I have 2, 224-78, a 222-78, a 448-78, and a 92 3012. I also have a collection of my first love. 1980 to 86 Simplicity 7119 (3 ea), and a AC 912.

A warm welcome to the new forum! There might be a few wrinkles with the software here because I put everything together in a couple of days, so I kindly ask for a little patience as I'm actively working on fixing things and adding features, such as showing the location under the avatar (the stock software doesn't have the feature so I'll have to do some coding).

Again, I'm glad you joined and let's make a nice Case community here!

Welcome to the forum! I almost got an AC package with snow blower and tiller and deck as my first tractor and the guy sold it to someone else after he promised it to me. I was so upset. Well, two weeks latest a Case 220 with the same three attachments showed up and that's how my disease started

This is Eugene (the long spelling and inside joke with another member here) Slagell, I am looking forward to the growth of this site. I have a case of these addictive machines. 1 Colt, 8 Case, and 1 Ingersoll plus most attachments.

Thank you for beginning a great looking site.

I was looking for a tiller for the Simplicity/AC, the $600 ones were ready for the scrap pile and the $1200 ones were more than I wanted to spend. Then found my first Case at an auction, a 224-78 with mower and tiller for $500. The biggest issue with running both brands is the steering wheel is the only control they have in common, everything else is mirror image. That keeps the wife off of the CI's ;)

Hi Gordy
Good to see you here. Growing up I spent some serious time on an '60's Simplicity Landlord, had quite the little mowing business. My dad always said I made all the money and wore his mower out but at least he knew I wasn't getting into trouble. He still runs a B12 AC, one though little tractor. I went to Ingy for my first tractor and stayed. Looking to restore a Case, just haven't settled on which one.

Soooo grateful to be here. Thanks for the invite from the dark side.
After losing our old Yahoo site and the recent VS BS I sure hope we've found a long-term home here.

THANKS to whoever put THIS new community together!

Oh, and I'm loyal to just one 77-446 and she's been very good to me.

And now we have member location nicely displayed where it should be. I wonder if the flag bothers people or it's fine to stay.
