The 4100 series all hydraulic tractors can only transfer so much power through the hydraulic system. I'm not sure of the exact amount but it's less than your GX670. The 4120 also has no belt driven PTO to run your snowcaster.
Yeah I'm back and forth on it myself... The 4120 can do more work hydraulically than the 4020 can due to the larger pump, but can do less work than the 4020 can do with the belt drive. So it would be better with my K32 splitter, my HT41 tiller, and anything else I decide to rig up hydraulically. But worse with the SB48 and the RM60. It also has a much larger hydraulic cooler, hydraulic temps are something my 4020 struggles with... And it's so clean! Less than 400 hours on it. We'll see, I think I'm leaning towards passing it on to the next owner, but if I do I'll be sad to see it go.

Welcome aboard @dhitching . Your story of getting the Case, Colt, Ingersoll infection is much like mine. I was in a jam, needing to replace a very wore out Massey 2016H. I found a 444 with snow thrower a few miles from me. After getting it home and researching Case Gt's he sold me his fully loaded 448. Now, more than a few CCI Gt's own me.

Thanks to you and @MattA for the comments on the AH tractors. There are two here, one for parts, and one to recondition. The AH
models are know for having mower deck motor failure. That is something for me to take into consideration in the coming year.

The old forum has some warnings about using non all hydraulic tractor hydraulic attachments with the all hydraulic tractors. Basically the higher flow rate turns the attachments faster. AH tractors also have a higher hydraulic relief pressure.

Where are you located?

The AH tractors would run your hydraulic snowblower better with the higher flow rate 👍

Matt, now I have to find a three point or covert it back to front mount.

I've got pictures of a hydraulic snowcaster mounted to an ingersoll loader instead of the usual bucket... just in case you come home to 6' of snow

@MattA I saw the 646 also. I would probably add a case drain motor and a lower pressure relief valve at the motor.

Just off the top of my head we have at least eight members here with an AH tractor. :7: All things considered, that's a fair number.
:446cart: let's go, it's finally time to blow. :peace:

Definitely. You can overspeed things like the wood chipper, rear finish mower, bagger, or brush hog if you don't use an AH variant. Pretty much anything that already spins at "high" RPM. The tillers spin slow enough where that's not an issue. Log splitter obviously wouldn't care hahaha. However, if you have an appropriately sized implement, the higher flow pump and higher pressure relief mean you can deliver ~58% more HP than a standard 4XXX tractor can hydraulically! That is a big difference.

I'm located in South East Michigan

I have intentions to get my Bercomac 2 stage hooked up to a quick attach plate :D

Yeah, parts sourcing for if the motor fails is also a concern...
