@DavidBarkey I didn't want to clutter up the for sale thread, but thanks for the welcome.

I just stumbled on this place this week, I've been on the FB forums and the CCI forum for a while, this showed up on a Google search I did looking for some solutions to a hydraulics question I had for my 6018 haha. This place seems like it's more active than CCI, but that's hard to tell.

I have an early 6018 that I've been working through adding front hydraulics to, I have a 4020 with a 24hp Honda GX670, HH34, HP34 PTO, K10 weights, loaded tires, RM60, SB48, etc. then I have a 446 that needs carb work that I've been too lazy to fix, and I just picked up a 4120 with an AHRM60, not sure if I'll be keeping it and selling the 4020 or not...

This all started because I bought a house in 2020, decided I needed a "lawnmower" and picked up the 4020 for a steal haha. Here we are... :))

@dhitching Welcome to the COOL PEOPLE CCI site.

Or is it the FUN PEOPLE site? Maybe the SMART PEOPLE site?

I can never remember.

But on thise site, we're all in a SPECIAL CLASS, that's for sure!

You'll fit right in, I'm certain.

I claim no biases one way or another hahaha. One thing I have to say about this forum is that the red and yellow stand out a bit more on my screen at work than black does! :writing:

Welcome to the forum, I hope you enjoy it here. Many of us here are in the FB cci group and the other site. I'd say we're a good group of active Case tractor guys. We love technical discussions of any kind, especially related to our Case garden tractors, but we're not very uptight about talking only about Case tractors, the reality is that technical skills transfer across most tractors, or mechanical devices.

We're trying to make the site friendly to all, whether very new to wrenching and tractors, or very seasoned in one or both. We encourage people to share their experiences because it really helps us all and are learning from each other.

Like you started with that one tractor, most of us did :)) they tend to multiply and attract attachments, to the bewilderment of our :wife: and friends.

Not sure this is a good thing :D, but at the very beginning I put a lot of time into trying to get the "right" shades of Power red and Desert sunset to show on the screen similar to what the eye sees on the tractors. Still think I didn't quite get it right, but wanted to have a theme appropriate for the tractors we use.

@Harry thanks, I recognize you from CCI. I started an intro thread here to not clog the for sale post too much... I fear it may be a bit too late for that though

Welcome aboard! There is a great group of people here.

I hear you about tractors multiplying. I started with a 648 loader backhoe that I fell into and couldn’t say no. I found it to be such a handy machine when I had the chance to pick up a 446 with a blade, mower, and 3 point I didn’t hesitate!
Of course these Case GTs have started adding up after I already have a shop full of larger antique tractors! Finding a home for everyone is sometimes challenging.

That 4020 sounds like a beast with that GX670 engine. I'd keep the 4020 over the 4120. The 4100 series all hydraulic tractors can only transfer so much power through the hydraulic system. I'm not sure of the exact amount but it's less than your GX670. The 4120 also has no belt driven PTO to run your snowcaster. @Timj has one and could tell you more.
