I am a little skeptical and hope it's not a spammer. Though I have a hard time believing that a bot could get pass our verification questions.

Re: New member from Russia
I do not see the new member from Russia's introduction. Did they post one?

Re: New member from Russia
We did not make the first introductory compulsory, so we have quite a few members who did not introduce themselves. I'm not sure if we should do it, what say you folks with many years of experience on cci?

Re: New member from Russia
Like this guy, I joined the other CCI long (years) before I made my first post there. As I understand the other site used the mandatory intro as a anti spam measure.

Re: New member from Russia
I think i had to post an intro, but at the time, like many users, I found the site because I got my first tractor and I had some questions
I've been thinking about our little site, and I am a believer that if something really does have something good to offer, in the end people will come. If people feel like introducing themselves they'll do it, and some won't. Since I don't have any commercial ambitions I play it more relaxed here. My time is now severly limited but hopefully in a few months I'll be able to do more work on the tractors and post more.

Re: New member from Russia
I like the introduction, but also feel it may be a little intimidating to some. I would not want anyone to feel that way. Let them speak when they are ready. I lurked around for a while on the other CCI forum for a while before I joined. It was the first forum I joined.
The laid back easy going way here is good. As time goes by and more come here, the friendly helpful attitude will help put newcomers at ease. Someone new to a Case tractor should not have to worry about getting blasted by some Turbo Tractor Man for a simple question.
The introduction is a great way to kinda get to know people a little, and I like that. And to let them know we don't bite.
Encouraged but not required.
