Frankie has been hunting

Post by DavidBarkey »

So far a while now the P220 in Frankie has been hunting when not under heavy load . So take a guess what I was doing yesterday . I was kinda ticked off , as I thought I had already done the reseal last year . Get it apart and to my surprise it is a virgin , never been touched . With rivets new gaskets and JB Weld in hand I went to work . Cleaned , resealed, back together and left to set over night . Put the loader back on n the morning here and he back to work , no more slacking off because he needed to see the doctor . ;)

The aluminim two piece intake manifolds were a bad decison from Onan to me. The Onan CCK models had cast iron manifolds. I'm not sure if the CCK manifolds would fit the B models engines?

@DavidBarkey the way you describe it makes one think it's the simplest thing in the world to do. It'd have taken me a whole day  nicely done!

What an improvement resealing the intake has made . I had forgot just how good the P220 can run .
