Do use the welder for your own business or someone else's? Just curious I always envious of the pipe liners. Quite an interesting breed making their own tools and designing their own rig the way the wanted too. Sure, was an education watching these guy's burn 3/16" 6010 downhill on large diameter pipe. Xray quality every joint.

Thanks Harry, I run this one myself, mostly for welding well casing while drilling. All beveled butt joints, casing is standing vertical. I run a root pass of 6011 covered with two passes of 7018. We're driving the casing into the ground so your joints better be good.
I have another Bobcat with a p216 Onan, mainly used for welding pitless adapters on in the trench during hookups.

You get to practice vertical and overhead on these. Don't need strength here, just run two passes so it doesn't leak.
:446cart: let's go, it's finally time to blow. :peace:
