These kits definitely look like they're more complete. I have two plastic pumps now, one working and one disassembled as shown above. Plus one I didn't take off the latest barn find, but I figure it could use a deep ultrasonic cleaning. Stay tuned..

Maybe this will help you. It has been awhile since I ordered a kit from them but the last one was as good as original with new gaskets and contained caged check valves. They would not tell me where they got the Airtex check valves from and when I called airtex they said they didn't sell valves like that.
But where ever they got them they work for the older metal Kohler fuels pumps.

Some of the original pumps on older Colt and Case stuff had one of either two of three type pumps. Years ago I bought five or six from a dealer going out of business. I have only used them when restoring something that deserves it. lol The attached pictures are from the original kohler kits. Good Luck, maybe this may help[ someone else.

The 444 I got this Saturday appears to have a metal fuel pump, but I'm not sure. Once I start taking it apart we'll know for sure. If that's the case the kit from the link you posted will come in handy.
