Glad to hear it got sorted out! If your bolt ends up not usable and I find one in my junk pile I'll send it to you.

That would be great. It's pretty rounded off so can't use a torque wrench on it at all.

Re: PTO on Case 220
That happened to me years ago. I ended up taking a head from another bolt and welding it unto the left handed thread one. It worked fine and didn't break off when torqued. Just a suggestion, if your in a pinch.

In a pinch like Harry said if you don't have a welder carefully file down new flat down to the next size socket even a metric size as along as you can get a good fit while waiting for a replacement bolt .

Yes I do have a welder. I thought about welding on a new bolt head. I will give that a go if need be.
Re: PTO on Case 220
Played around with the 220 again this weekend. I had ordered a new ignition switch, solenoid and points and condenser. The parts arrived during the week. Got the points installed, figured out the wiring and installed the switch and solenoid. Cleaned the carb and filled the hydraulic system and engine oil. This thing has been sitting, not run, for about 6 years in my shed and at least a few years before I bought it. Filled the float bowl, sprayed some carb cleaner in the throat of the carb and it started up with little effort. Seems to run quite decent and both high/low range work well and the hydraulic lift works. So better than I expected!

Re: PTO on Case 220
that's awesome after sitting that long. if you haven't already done so, now would be a good time to dump the oil in the rear end too.
let's go, it's finally time to blow.
Re: PTO on Case 220
Yes, I will do that. I was basically just wanting to see if the tractor even functioned at this point to which I was pleasantly surprised.
