Same guy just sold a complete but disassembled 646 for 1500. Only thing missing was rear tires.

Thanks guys!

My initial plan was to build a loader on one of the project 444 s. I realized pretty quickly that it won't happen until the kids are past toddler age, just don't have the time. I'd have been happy if Dave could build one for me, similar to his Frankie which is a beast! But I had no donor working 4xx and he doesn't have availability to do it until next winter. So it was hard to pass on this red machine when it showed up, even though the price was higher than I wanted to pay.

Wow! So impressed with the tractor. Everything is tight and working so well. The loader is fast. There are three levels of rust protection, also known as coats of paint  . Blue over the original yellow, and red over blue. :)) Boggles the mind. But I don't care, as far as I mentioned concerned function over form. I got work for this machine!

Congrats on acquiring a 644 Eugen. Once you get one and put it to use, you see how much work you can get done in a short period of time. I don't believe the Christmas morning feeling ever goes away! I'm very happy for you and it will be so much better than a 400 series tractor.

Keep the Peace
Harry
