Some heavy wet nasty stuff and 4020 with our 19 tooth Blower Kit In Action
On Tuesday we got 12 to 14 inches of real wet nasty snow this week and made a quick video. The day after we used a 1 owner 4020 we have for sale with our upgraded 19 tooth jack shaft kit and wanted a video for market place. Also there is a clip of our 448 hood scoop trail blazing some insanely dense roadside snow with a 19 tooth kit blower on the day of the storm when it was very wet and heavy. I think it was plowing as much snow as was going through blower at same time lol. This stuff really was nasty. Also a sneak peak of our winter 24 video with a few clips of the 4118 Diesel, restored 4120, 448 and 648. We often get asked often how the 19 tooth works and figured its best to show, though not ideal conditions, we worked with what we had. Unfortunately we have not had much snow in the past couple years and NO light powder to show a video. But they work twice as good and twice as easy on the machine in normal snow as they do here. We have a full video on the jack shaft kits we offer and recommendations as far as tractor and blower to match them with. But I know many this year have forgot what snow looks like (its still soft ground and somewhat green grass under it here!) as we did before this first real storm of the season lol so here you go enjoy! https://youtu.be/_KfMlqbVx3o?si=7JBxSWswEsS4Rw9-

Wow Ryan! great video. I know you have done a couple of videos now on snow blower jack shafts, etc. Would really love to know how you set up your blowers though to blow snow like that. Want to share?

Thanks guys. Eugen yes the 444 can hold their own no doubt lol. Ray this blower is just one we have on a tractor for sale. It has our 19 tooth upgraded jackshaft kit as that makes a difference and also just has some rubber flap to extend the paddles closer to the back of the auger housing and that helps too. The other thing is the Onan is turning full RPM and the Onans and especially the 20 horse just make so much power that they do not slow down too much under load. I also tell everyone the key to these singe stage snow blowers is keep them stuffed, more snow in the more snow and faster snow out. Go as fast as you can without bogging engine too much. Often we find the Kohler tractors and 16 and lower Vanguards really do well with 38 blowers as they tend to stay full more often and those engines can handle full 38 inch blowers fine.

Thanks Ryan. Love to see you offer an "upgrade kit for the snow caster paddles.. Offer rubber cut t size, dimensions, nuts/bolts/washers etc.. I think this would really help our community.. Ray

Ray when I made my rubber extensions I cut apart an old trailer tire. Very heavy and heavy duty not like conveyor belting. Harry

Great minds think alike @Harry ! I made flaps for my old snowcaster out of a motorcycle tire.

Thanks for making my Berco look bad
Very impressive snow throwing distance. Certainly moves a lot of snow. Time to develop a better chute for the snowcaster.

lol Agree the chute can be better on these. Its on our list along with some other things we want to improve/upgrade for kits on the blowers. Just never enough time lol.

CINE, we all appreciate everything you do for the members here. Also the interest in the CI GT’s, making kits to update our old but efficient GT’s. Harry
