Once I said im not a big fan of those patches or gorilla tape for fixing and that I'd try UV resistant marine vinyl. This is what I've done. This is an easier case though, may not work on all chairs.

Nice fix Eugen. Could you do a tractor seat with it.

The one I showed above is the original 644 seat. Will paint it's frame at some point too.

Next I plan to do this one. No staples. Contact cement probably.

Nice Looking repair @Eugen :thumbsup: I also will be interested to see how the marine vinyl will work with contact cement... :hm:

Count me in with Noel and Gerry. If the contact cement works out I would think it would be much more economical than replacing the whole seat.

Well, not a total failure but to me it's more functional.
