Well I put the plugs back in after checking gap. I then took the main jet adjustment screw out. Sprayed carburetor cleaner thru main jet. Put adjustment screw back in and left it out 1 1/2 for adjustment. Left the air cleaner off, filter is good by the way. Out I went and moved a bit of snow, since we got more last nite. Worked good. I know it’s the easy way out, spraying carburetor cleaner in it instead of taking it all apart. But will see how long it keeps going.
Picture of exhaust on bonnet. Yesterday and today. I would say the adjustment screw was at about one turn out. Before I took it out to clean.

Jumpins. Quite a ramble.

You know I've had problems with the fuel on both my 444 and 644. The dirt I found in the carb coming from the tank and from the line to the carb was, in my case, like fine sediment. That type of dirt doesn't really get unclogged with carb cleaner. But maybe you have a different problem. You'll figure it out.

Noel didn't you reseal the intake last year ? If not , that is something to look at like Eugen said . My pipes a re blacker than that from starting with choke which is very common .

Looking at the plugs.. they look black to me (bad angle?) . think it might be an electrical issue here but way too early to tell.
