Tractor Lift.
So I'm getting old and always looking for the next best thing that makes my life easier when spending time with my hobby! I'm sure I am not alone here. So a couple of years ago, after some medical issues I needed to jack my GT up! sure I am not alone in this, not sure what I wanted to do but it was regular maintenance I'm sure. So as usual I took the car out of the garage, and pulled the GT in. So my go to start is to jack the tractor up so grabbed the floor car jack...I'm sure we all do that, right?
Well this time I had had enough!!! So before I started I visited my local Harbor Freight store (I'm lucky as I have three within about 8 miles!) and bought a tractor lift... What a difference!!! I would highly recommend you buy the lift or a lift. It is night and day an improvement on a car jack. Wish I had the money as I would buy a car lift type used in car garages for use for my GT but this solution is almost as good. I use my lift, together with a couple of mats and can lay comfortably under my GT without worrying.
When I win the lottery I will buy my car/GT lift -- yeah right? always can hope though!

Re: Tractor Lift.
About 10 years ago I bought one of those Horror Freight GT lifts That taught me to ignore the 5 star ratings (just got it out of the box and looks great), and go with the 1 & 2 star ratings. Which matched my experience, worked great exactly twice, then won't lift a 40 pound sandbag, and out of warranty. This one had a foot operated hydraulic jack. Bought on sale for about $90.
But yah it was nice while it lasted.
