I’m moving some things around the shop getting set up for winter operations. This deck came with my 446 but I haven’t even looked at it until today.

It seems to be fairly complete. It’s missing one blade pulley, a couple of pins, nuts and bolts and the belts

Looking it over I would say it’s kinda rough. A lot of crappy welding, not that I could do better. Not sure what to do with it. Maybe get it to cut again, maybe look for a better one and keep this one for parts. I’m not sure it may become a winter project. But for now it’s going to the back of the shed, too many other projects in the pipeline for now.

Good plan, other than the weld job it really doesn't look too bad. :letmesee: If it is not tweaked out of level it could be a good winter project. How are the spindle bearings?
:geek:

I really didn’t check them other than to give them a spin. They feel dry. For today I just wanted to make sure I kept all the pieces together and get it out of the way.

Luckily mowing season is far in the future, so you have lots of time to decide what to do with it. Who knows, one in better shape may just show up near you!

I’ll add that to the list of possible options! I’d have to send it to you one piece at a time to try and afford the shipping. :D

Of course you know he's going to try to get a sleeve hitch sent too. :D
