2007 Dakota

Trucks, cars, boats, motorcycles, snowmobiles. If you can drive it and it has an engine but it's not a tractor, it fits here.

Neat to see that many clicks on your truck! My Honda truck has good engine, but it's desintegrating from the outside. It's getting so rusty that I'm beginning to doubt it can safely be lifted on a hoist. And not even 200k on the odometer. Figures.. :109:

It may very well make it to 400000km. Looks good. Has it had the transmission replaced?

No ,it is only the V6 and have tranny cooler on it as long as I have had it . Only an alternator, water pump, typical wheel bearing, ball joints , brakes and steering rack. Mechanically .
Body wise , My son has done both front fenders and rad support fix the box and paint .

My 2005 ford ranger has 225,000 on it I think. Typical box falling off, but I fixed that two and a half years ago. And still seems good. Rust showing here and there, but over all I’d say the best vehicle I’ve owned. But I did have a 1988 chev celebrity station wagon, for years, and it was also a very good vehicle. In the last 30 years I had the chev celebrity , chev S10 truck and the ranger. S10 truck was alright, but not as good as the celebrity and the ranger.

There, a quick vehicle ramble.

I had an 87 Dakota, the first year they came out. I sold it at 260,000 kilometers and it had zero rust. I have a 95 Dakota which is now a bush truck because there has been no body on it since 135,000 kilometers, nothing but a rust bucket. Even the front bumper has holes rusted through it. My dad has a 2004 Dakota which is also a rust bucket. They are both the new body style.
I still have a 92 Dakota (old body style still) and it also has zero rust. The paint has finally started fading.
Your Dakota looks nice.
