Potatoes hilled today.

Post by propane1 »

Potatoes hilled today. No tractor was abused in this endeavour. But my back was. Plants to high to run Grunt over them with 7” ground clearance. And the high crop Case 446 still does not have a sleeve hitch.

Im amazed that there is not to many potatoe bugs Normally a lot this time of year. And I mean hundreds per day. Only less than a dozen today before the hilling. Only another month and they normally start to die down.

Great job there Noel! You inspired me and I did the same but I only have a few plants, so it wasn't as much work. No bugs at all on my plants yet. :snail:
