Retilled the garden. Figured out my rows. 7 rows by 30’. Cut up my sets. Letting them dry while I’m having a snack.
So I’ll have four rows of innovator, two rows of russet and one row of Norland. I don’t normally plant Norland potatoes, but a fella gave them to me this morning. I gave him blue potatoe seed this morning.
I think I’m going to use the tractor to plant. But will see. More pictures later. Hopefully. Phone screwed up. Out of Beepin storage.

Re: Start on potatoe planting.
All right. About two hours to plant 7, thirty foot rows. Use the middle buster, I made, to make the rows. Then put the potatoes in a box. Use bull low gear and low idle on Grunt and drive beside the row and throw potatoes in and space them 12” to 24”, what ever fits. Then put the hiller on and cover up. Simple as that.
Done.

Re: Start on potatoe planting.
Did some weeding with Grunt today. Going to put the tiller though it next week. Which will bring some ground in to use for hilling. Then let the plants grow some. Then hill them.
My other garden where the blue potatoes are was weeded and hilled today. All hoe and hand work. No tractor was used in this one. Last picture.
No potatoe bugs yet. Amazing. ! But the mosquitoes are bad.

I put two short rows of potatoes too, the day before yesterday. They don't look even close as nice as yours, hopefully something will grow!
