Well potatoes are growing good. And the lettuce is ready to start using. Planted carrots in the area beside the lettuce last week.
Going to plant another row of lettuce on the right side of the step, beside potatoes. Maybe today.

Got the weeds out from around the potatoes and planted the lettuce, yesterday afternoon.

I just got another idea from another fella on a site I’m on. He has a cherry tomato plant by the door. So he can sneak a tomato on the way in or out of the house. Neat idea.

Still eating lettuce from the two rows I planted by the steps going into house. Pick the leaves and they grow back. I store picked leaves in a zip lock bag and place them in the refrigerators bottom storage bin for the carrots and things.

Picked the last of the lettuce today. Two roast beef sandwiches for dinner. Chips and tea. Still enough picked lettuce for a couple more sandwiches. Not a bad run of it, June till October.

For those of us trying to stay in or get back into shape . "Round" , although not always ideal is a shape . You know why mechanics have a "spare tire" , so they don't get flats .

:giggle: Ha you almost got me again! Me and son just got done eating the last of the green beans and peas from the garden with some peppered Italian salami and cheese! I guess the trick is to look on here while I’m already eating! :giggle: :giggle:

Although your sandwiches do look really good… I think I can already feel a snack coming on! :78: :D
