So, sorry guys but I used you a little as a test run here...

The manual I published was a good quality scan of a "used" manual (cost me $20 to prove my point but I also was looking for info on modification of chain tensioner too) with care scanning with alignment, etc. but even then there was a slight tilt on some pages that were probably acceptable, but I must admit I am a perfectionist. I had not done any "finishing" work though and still got "thanks" and I appreciated that...

Here's the finished manual after getting rid of the holes and straightening text, etc. I for one know I have my own printed copy of this in my files and obviously stored electronically too.

I guess my point here is that we can accept manuals that we can just about read, or we can improve at least what we have.

Talked with Eugen a couple of times now and the task of "improving" the copies of the manuals that we have is way beyond the work and time one person can reasonably dedicate to this but if each person took their manuals that they used and improved and fed them back...WOW!

So here's the improved manual: see the difference?

And guys you are the first online to get this manual you can actually read complete. Every other site has this manual that's been top and tailed. The person who copied the original (that has found it's way onto every forum site, made the classic mistake of using landscape mode rather than portrait mode and cut off the top of bottom of the page.

So bottom line is that we might end up fixing OUR problem but what about our friends too? lets work together and solve this?
