I came across this in an internet search and never seen it before and want to make sure it was preserved on our forum. It deals with modifications to to the K1 & K2 cabs for various GT models, etc.

#RoamingGnome you hit it right on the head my friend! Not quite building from scratch but close. I bought a very badly abused K2 cab a couple or three years ago and have been working on it year on year and if you have followed some of my drawing posts you will see a number of cab drawings of my cab I am building between other projects. From time to time I search the internet to "see" what is there and this came up in one of those searches. Never seen this information before, yet it is from a kit someone, sometime bought, and these were the instructions that came with it. It seems to be from modifying the cab based on a 1987 GT and obviously fitted with a rear PTO. For me I have found that that even though it might not apply to my specific GT the information these documents contain usually goes far beyond their original intent.

Thanks for posting this Ray. A project that I was spinning around in my head was cab for the 446 snow moving GT. I found one in someone’s front yard from a JD that I converted to. I was thinking of making another for the 444 that I’m going to mount a snow blade on the front of. I’m sure I refer to this when I do. Great find Ray and thanks for sharing with the members here. Thanks Harry, the reason I try to share my experiences here is is exactly what your post says. I must admit that I, for one, am always learning, even at 75 year old! Sharing is my way of contributing...now all I need is the physical energy to finish my projects
