Took chains off the Case 446 today. I’m getting spring fever, maybe. Any way, it a start. :D

I understand the feeling Noel, but practically would it make any difference if you left the chains on? :wave3: :giggle:

Just getting a head start Eugen. Some stuff on other tractors to take off and put on. Mowing deck, tiller, loader bucket. Three maybe four snowthowers to get off. The Case 446 may go in a parade on pavement, if the Plow match event goes, which I think it will. Running the chains on the pavement not a good idea for number of reasons.

Oh yeah, chains on asphalt not a good idea. It's nice to do something that feels like spring is here. I'm sad not to be able to do a little more for the garden this spring. :sigh:

To bad you can’t do more with the garden Eugen. I on the other hand am going to do less.

Hehe. And I like the look of the ag tires better Eugen. Another reason for gettin the chains off. :giggle: :giggle:
But if I was not going to use the tractor on hard surface, ya I could leave the chains on. I think I will on the Case 224. It’s going to be cutting grass. I leave the chains on all year on the LGT 165. Ford, Massey Ferguson 12 with loader and Massey Ferguson 14, with dozer blade.
