Snow casters ?

Post by propane1 »

Can someone school me on what the difference is on a K84 or L84 and maybe a J84 snow caster. They seem to look the same in any pictures I’ve seen.

All I know is that some are older than others but I only had the J84 and never the newer ones. I think comparing the parts manuals will show the difference. Sort can't be of more help Noel. :|

The one on my Case 446 is a k84. The one on my Case 224 has no model tag. Only thing I can see different in the two is the universal joint on the chute crank shaft. The other thing is the two locking handles on the top deflector adjustment. They are different. Any way, was just wondering.
