Don't know have to look it up . I don't think it is that . I think it is the scissor collapsing to much . If I put a 2x4 in there so it keeps the scissor open more it works fine .

I had similar thoughts about the actuator. If modifying the scissor lift doesn't work, you could try flipping it around like this (Please forgive the green and yellow tractor posting)


Or with a bit more fabrication...
