That is a cool project! I’m really liking the hydraulic dump bed. Unfortunately, or, luckily depending on how you want to look at it I don’t meet any of the specified criteria of time, parts, or money!

Re: Needs a project??
David I love the idea. I would like one on a larger scale for moving more of what ever you need to move. Thanks for the posting. Harry

I have to wonder though, if you're going to all that trouble why not make the dumper bigger?

Re: Needs a project??
It looks like it might have a solid frame. Probably not great on hills and turning?

Re: Needs a project??
I think the mid frame grader blade is kinda neat - could be a useful machine if you were maintaining bush trails - load of mulch in the back for whatever you couldn't fix with the grader...

Maybe it can swing up and down. Back is just for weight for more traction.
I like it too. I'm often driving around with a trailer connected, why not make it permanent, I got enough tractors!

Re: Needs a project??
I was curious and did the Google Lens thing with @DavidBarkey photos...
The original post seemed to imply it was a 6x4 - I'm guessing the back half of a 2nd machine complete with it's hydraulic motor

If you do a google image search you might be able to find the original source for the image and some more info on the build.RoamingGnome wrote: ↑Mon Jan 08, 2024 5:38 pm I was curious and did the Google Lens thing with @DavidBarkey photos...
