I guess you guys are more observant than myself. I thought it was a dump trailer. Reminds me of one I seen years ago on another site. GT with a bench seat and a bed like a pickup bed in the back, but no dump. It would be a terrific project. Harry

That looks a lot like the bride of Frankenstein I was building until she tried to kill me . Only she has a kubota 2cyl deisel . I hope to finish her this summer , but will have to restrain her well and ware my helmet

I was curious and did the Google Lens thing with @DavidBarkey photos...
The original post seemed to imply it was a 6x4 - I'm guessing the back half of a 2nd machine complete with it's hydraulic motor

If you do a google image search you might be able to find the original source for the image and some more info on the build.

Case 222 4x6 - $700

Built this years ago for our property up north. It's been stored in a shed since I've owned it but doesn't get much use. Started as a 222. I added the second axle, power dump box & grader blade. Great for around the farm, yard or what ever. I used it to grade the trails on our property & haul firewood. 12hp kohler engine runs great. Has a new battery & yes both rear axles drive(4x4). Price is firm as I'm on the fence about selling it anyway. Come take a look & test drive. It could use a little love, but a very cool tractor.

What is now my three-point back blade was originally an underbelly blades on my 442. And that thing was amazing. You can get so much effective down pressure on that blade.

I had just finished it when we had an ice storm. And I was able to peel the frozen ice off of the asphalt on the hill in front of her house to where we our neighbors could leave our neighborhood well before several neighborhoods around us!

I just had it connect to a regular mule bracket in front and connected it to the midlift arms at the back above the blade.

I made one of the mid lift connector arms out of a turnbuckle so that the blade could be tilted.

It was a real pain in the butt to install. But it worked great. Whereas the back blade is a cinch to install but not quite as effective in use.

Someone a few years back built a larger trailer while keeping the same drive axle concept. So, that means it is different from this one as it is a trailer.

My memory of it is that the trailer was of course a dump trailer. That is an easy addition when you have a hydraulic tractor. I think it was 4-5 feet long and the width was about 6 inches past the tires on each side.

I do not remember if it had stake side rails but, that would certainly be nice.

I do remember the purpose was to haul wood.

It really should be articulated. A rigid frame for the rear wheeled dumper somehow offends my sensibility.

I think I would take the rear fenders off and extend dump box all the way over the 222's rear wheels. You can sit in box to drive.

Also, why did he have the dump pivot so far from rear. He could have pivot right at rear and dump from height. Where the pivot is is good for manual dumping, but that cylinder could probably lift 4 ton.
