Another project

Post by Harry »

I seen this boom come up on CL. It’s for a cat-1-cat-3. So our Cases are cat-0 and I would have to modify one. Being a welder fabricator I could build one with structural steel I have around. Have any of the members on CCIGT built a boom for their Cases? :peace: Harry

I got a "mini truck mount crane" from Princess Auto the last time they were on sale - it's on my "to-do" list to make a bracket that will mount on my sleeve hitch. I like the fact that it swivels...

I had ran across this on Marketplace, this is the only pic but Dan White had it listed so you could probably get more pics.

Here's mine. I built it a few years ago. Don't use it much now that I have the loaders but is still a handy tool to have around. Very light and easily stores in the corner of the garage.ImageImageImageImage

No wheelies. lol.. I have a nice chunk of metal up front for my counterweight. 165lb of front weight. I believe I weighted that blower at the time and it was something like 300lbs. I made it out of necessity when I moved a few years back. Didn't have the loaders at the time and needed assistance putting large items on my flatbed to transport. Worked out really good.
