What to do with this

Post by Eugen »

In one of my parts buying deals I ended up with this 15hp horizontal shift clone of an engine, basically new starts at first key. The po was going to use it to repower a 444. I find myself not knowing what to do with it. Originally I was going to use it to build a loader on that 444. Now that my loader itch has been addressed by the 644... :114:

Versatile little engines . I have a 13 hp on a dump tractor I built . Hooking up remote throttle and choke cables were a pain though. But it works good .

Last week I saw a youtube video for a home made stump grinder. Then there was one for a homemade chipper/shredder

I have a stump grinder that has a 13hp Honda engine on it. It works very well it just takes some time to grind deep enough. I've used this a lot over the last ten years and have been careful not to hit any rocks that tear up the carbides.

A stump grinder would probably be the most useful thing for me. Will have to look into getting carbides for the cutting wheel.
