Here are a few more that I display in my house. These are all made from 316L stainless steel. One place I worked at had a lot of this as scrap material. I was doing a repair on a heating element in an electric furnace which was made out of inconel which has a lot of nickel in it. The furnace was just heated up after an annual service when the heating element shorted out. The walls were covered in the 316L SS and when I went in after it cooled down, it looked like a rainbow inside. I then experimented with some of the scrap and found out with a little heat the SS would turn golden. A little more heat it would turn purple. A little more heat would turn it brilliant blue. Any more it would turn black. So by varying the heat in the flowers I could color them.

This piece I gave to my wife for Valentines day quite some time ago. An even dozen of Roses. It has four roses that are golden, four roses that are blue and four that are purple.

They're all beautiful, but this last one is my favourite, the one like a vine growing on the wall. :D Harry, imagine if you put some Swarovski crystal rhinestones like dew on some of the leaves. Especially with the lamp next to the piece there.

I use to make stuff out of sheet copper and copper tube. Gave a lot of stuff away. A few pieces went to England, Nova Scotia, Ontario. A lot of it was candle holder things.
