1977 Case 646 FEL
This 646 FEL has been a work in progress that I have been posting on the other site as progress was made. From rebuilding the Onan CCKA, to rewinding the stator, fabricating the fenders and footboards and adding a hydraulic oil filter. Yesterday I pulled it out of the shop after installing a ball joint on the spool of the TCV. It now move in forward and reverse very nicely. Next I'll be going through the H70 tiller to get ready for gardening season.

Harry, Congratulations on another piece of great craftsmanship. I like the looks of those tires and the black trim. The legend on the tires is hard to read. They are Goodyear but what are the other spec's. The 646l here will not make it through the summer on the new skid steer tires if ones like yours can be found in Ontario.

I really like it Harry! those big ags are going to make her a beast. The big fenders look great and will keep you both clean and dry.

I'll have to check on the size Spike. I picked them up second hand from a guy who used them for a job and didn't need them any more. They were loaded and on rims that fit perfectly.

Here is a pic of the side wall. They are Goodyear tires.

Re: 1977 Case 646 FEL
The original wheels would have been 12' for a backhoe model and 15" on a loader model. Are these tires mounted on 16" Case wheels or have the wheels been widened for the wider tires?

I think these 11.2-16 tires were used on the direction wheels of some combines. I'd love a pair on my 446 but they're made of unobtainium!

Re: 1977 Case 646 FEL
I saw them in a C/L ad a few years ago. I went to look at them and the seller told me he had used them on a job around his house and took them off. They had been setting around in his garage taking up space and it was time to sell. They are on rims that the tires were mounted on, that's all I know. They are loaded and they are heavy, I had a hard time moving them. One tipped over on me after I got it home and I had to pry it up and put a board under it to upright it. I've been more careful after that episode! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
