Our resident :51: Jacob . Our grandson graduated grade 8 tonight . Both his mom and dad were there to see him graduate and both were civil but we did sit between.

Congratulations to Jake! :congrats: Great that both his parents were there to see and support him, and that you were too. Jake might not fully comprehend right now how nice it is to have family share the moment. One day he will though! :violin:

He has a Jacobsen rider to finish for burning around the back yard . I am going to put him to work in the shop with me for the summer .

Doesn't always show it but I think he does .
He had a ruff start to school , he is ADHD and is being raised by his grandparent away from his siblings . After getting behaviour help from the school board and on medication . He went from being on the verge of being expelled constantly to a "B" student . This past year he had to do a lot of growing up when I got injured . He learned to drive Frankie , do a lot more around the house and take care of the birds . Gain a new appreciation for how fragile life is and how fast things can change . So I guess that is the silver lining to it all .
