Found this at the end of my driveway

We had some thundershowers Thursday night. Yesterday morning I came across this animal at the end of my driveway. Very malnourished fox or coyote. What do you guys think? Harry

I think it was a fox. Poor thing seems to have been in bad shape.

I was thinking possibly it was rabid and maybe got hit by a car, then stumbled into the driveway. It was about ten feet off the road. It certainly was in rough shape. Harry

Last spring we had a raccoon come into the yard in rough shape like that and acting weird . Hid in the bushes and die hours later . The vet sais it is a clear sign of Distemper .

Common in foxes, it looks like a case of mange.
