Snow day.

Post by JSinMO »

We got about 4 inches of snow yesterday. Not really much to worry about and the forecast is for temperatures to be really warm next week so it won’t last long. But today will be well below freezing and I thought, what a great opportunity to give my “snow equipment” a test. Or in other words let’s go play in the snow for a little bit! :D

I had to check and it’s been since February of 2022 since I moved any snow! I do have a Troy Built walk behind that I like to use close to the house so I thought I’d be good to start it up since it been so long. It cranked right up and ran perfectly.

I think it did a nice job.

With that done I was ready to jump on the 446! As usual it started immediately and was ready to go! This little snow was no issue for it.

I fully intended to crank up the 2N and try it out, but I was have such a good time on the Case it just kept going till I was done!

This marks the first time I’ve move snowed with a Case garden tractor and I think I’d did a great job!

Nice pictures! - as you know, I like snow! Got myself a little seat time last night using the snowcaster on the 444. More for fun, as 8 inches of snow does not fall in the serious category for me. :D

@JSinMO - great photos! Nice to see these tractors working in the snow - Our little pocket of "no-snow" continues on... With a little luck we'll be up north next winter and have some winter fun like the rest of you... Except for Noel - @propane1 - the Atlantic provinces just get too much snow
