Did the 18HP Onan simply not exist as long as the 16HP Onan?
Would be nice if the Kohler Command fit in the 3000/4000 series tractors.
Correct, 446 production began with the 1973 model year and the 18 hp 448 was not introduced until 1980.

The P220G Onan was first used when the 4 digit tractors came out late in 1988 for the upcoming 1989 model year. (4020)

Commands not a bad engine but, Prefer Onan every day of the week. The Massey GT made by Ingersoll and some 6018 and the 7020 had the later Kohlers in them.
