Re: Happy birthday Gerry!
A Big Thank You to everyone for the Birthday greetings
- The weather was a little damp,
The Falls were still there...
We enjoyed a nice dinner at the Flying Saucer Restaurant... (and got a souvenir T-Shirt too!)
We stayed until dusk and the Falls illumination started for the night -
still think the old carbon arc flood lights were physically more impressive than the new high tech LED illumination
...and also stopped at Princess Auto in St Catharines and saw the perfect gift
for the guy who really needs another tool like he needs a hole in the head...
(just ask)
Spotted a Diesel engine compression test kit on the discontinued / clearance table - WooHoo!
Can't wait to try it on my old Case Backhoe (1965 Case 530 CK) - The success @Eugen has had with his big backhoe has me inspired

Re: Happy birthday Gerry!
Yes... half price But the excitement is toned down a bit after reading the instructions - out of the box it will be great for automotive applications (like my 1990 F350 with the 7.3 IDI diesel) but I'll probably have to fabricate or fangle adapters for working on tractors - just adds to the challenge

That's another thing I almost asked but didn't. I have a few posts in my 680 thread about trying to find a kit that included an adapter for mine. Wasn't cheap, ordered from the . Only to find it cheaper a few days later on amazon. Mind you, it didn't exist on amazon when I was looking. Anyways, you can borrow one of my adapters if any fits your tractor.
