Rainy day in the shop
When it’s a nice sunny day I don’t want to be in the shop working. So I’ve been waiting for a rainy day to catch up on shop work. Today it’s been raining since 10am. A hydraulic hose let go just as I was completing the arborvitae hedge project. The hose to the crowd cylinder of the hoe starting squirting oil. So I shut it down and headed for the shop. I only had a little bit of raking to do. I pulled the hose this morning and will run to the hose shop tomorrow morning to have one made up. I also crawled under the 444 that has been dripping oil. I’ve come to the conclusion the oil is leaking from the tcv spools. I pulled the drain plug and it’s currently draining. I hope to get to that this evening or tomorrow morning after I replace the hose on the hoe. Thats my raining day ramble. Harry

Re: Rainy day in the shop
I had a new hose made today at a local hydraulic shop. I tried TSC first but that didn’t work out. Then ran to Advanced Auto Parts who I heard from a reliable source that they bought out Diehard Batteries. They had them so I purchased a 340 cold crank amp GT battery. Installed both in the 644 lbh. Now it’s let the games begin. Another rainy day ramble. Harry
