Terry, it was a pleasure meeting you after years of messaging. You do have nice collection of early tractors.

In spite of what you say, I do owe you.

It just makes me happy that I had the tractor and you needed it.

They are getting harder and harder to find. The parts alone on these tractors demand an unreal price. This tractor doesn't need much. The engine ran perfect the last time I had it running. The wiring and safety switches are the worse part of it. It will make a very nice tractor! I am happy Eugene ended up with it.

Later, Keep up the good work on the site. Maybe one day soon I will finish the article (book) I am writing about the history of these tractors. I have researched the company and the Johnson brothers extensively. I hope to be able to post it on the site soon. I and am still gathering information about them and their Company. From newspaper and other sources. Here is an ad they ran October 20 1966 after moving from Milwaukee to Winneconne, Wisc. Look at the prices. This would have been after Case had taken over

ras101, Normally I would agree 100 per cent with you, but since Spike was born and raised 30 miles North of me, I am making just this one exception. But I really like bringing them down South when I get the chance.

Have a Great day!

I like to think Terry gave me a break because of my hooking him up with some tractors in his area. But maybe it was because Terry was a coworker with one of my grade school/high school classmates. Needless to say, this is a small world made up of a great group CGIT enthusiasts. Terry is not the only member I have played 6 degrees to Kevin Bacon with.
