Earthquake

Post by Harry »

I was shook awake this morning by loud boom then the house shook with the windows rattling. Next a chill ran up my back like never before. At first I thought it might be thunder then I thought maybe an airplane crashed. I get a lot of plane traffic going into the Niagara Falls airport. When I got up the news said it was a earthquake. Did anyone else feel it? :peace: Harry

All quiet on the western front, but I did see some video of it. Kinda scary. I hope you didn’t get any foundation damage. I’ve been in a couple of shocks over the years, it’s an odd sensation.

Didn't feel this one at all. A few years ago there was one that shook the glasses in the cupboard.

We had a magnitude 3.6 earthquake 30 or so miles from here in 2020. Certainly an odd rumbling sensation. Its at least the 3rd I've been in here in Mass/Rhode Island in the past 30 years.

I had not heard about that one. When I saw the title I thought it was about the 7.8 that hit Turkey and Syria. Over 4300 dead, but the search is still ongoing. They are saying it happened at a depth of 24.1 km / 14.9 miles.
