Re: I watch a ploughing video in the morning
So, strangely enough now that I think of it. I came in Second last year with those points. Points may not have been worn as much maybe, or the other plowers did worse than I did.
Still have not heard who placed where yet, for this years plowing.

Re: I watch a ploughing video in the morning
The good news Noel is that you have a whole year to prepare. I have no experience with plowing, except what I do with the small plow in our small garden, and I know it's not setup properly because the tractor gets stuck all the time when the plow goes too deep. I've wanted to add one of those wheels that keeps the depth constant, but I never seem to find time for it. How many people participated in this contest?

10 this year Eugen. Could have been more if we were not rained out on Saturday.
I’ve seen as many as 14 over the years. One fella was from northern NB this year. He has been here before.
A few years ago there were one or two from Ontario.
Could be just depth adjustment Eugen, if set to deep.
But a wheel sure helps on a Brinley plow.

Well got the results of the plowing. I didn’t do so good. Hehe. But I knew that. On to next year.

Caught me off guard this one. Thought it was a Allis Chalmers G. One of my favourite tractors.

Re: I watch a ploughing video in the morning
In another post you mentioned what would I do if things never broke. Maybe get to all the projects like a wheel for the plow. That’s what I’m talking about! Ya Harry. To many things to do and to little energy to do them all. Or I forget those little projects.

Always interesting to watch, such a variety of old garden tractors in the background too... thanks for sharing Noel

Neat little tractor . But what I found most impressive was how it lifted at the end of the row using the 1/4 gear engaging the one wheel .
