Get to know your local tire shop well . Wheel weights can be cut into nuggets .

I tried to buy them at a dozen shops. Same story every time, they already have a guy that gets them all.

Years ago I had a bunch of lead ingots that were on the front of our 830. I took them off and scrapped them when I put the loader on it. I wish I would have kept them now!

Oh no, too bad! These are times when all metal is precious. I called a metal recycler in Toronto last year to buy some lead. The price I don't remember but it was high.

I remember thinking I have no use for these I might as well cash them in. If only I could have seen into the future, they would have been perfect on the back of the 446!

Strangely after mentioning this rear thrower the other day. It left my garage today. Son came over and had the thought of putting it on the rear of the MF 14 tractor. Been sitting there for a few years. So now it may get used.
