Re: Loaded up and ready to go.
Not far these days. M gets her covid shot tomorrow eve and I am taking the day off to do some office work. We are starting to putter around the yard, picking up sticks and cleaning a small flower bed.

WOW
Love it, better get the wife to move a little farther forward
She could fall out and that would not be a good thing.
Just got back from getting my covid shot, the doctors office was packed I haven't seen that many people
in one place in over a year, safe who knows but got the one and done shot, I'm happy 2 weeks and I can go see my Dad

Re: Loaded up and ready to go.
M had an end of day appointment for the C shot. I tagged along hoping they would have no shows. It worked and I have been Poked.

Re: Loaded up and ready to go.
At the VA, the priority list dropped to my level. So got the first shot last week, they only have the 2 shot vaccine there so need to go back on the 27th. The wife has fallen into the hermit life style and thinks she does not need it. God only knows what she's been reading on FB
Cheers,
Gordy

Re: Loaded up and ready to go.
I heard today that they started to give hospital beds to adults, at the sickkids hospital downtown Toronto. That's world class research hospital. I used to work for the Ontario Cancer institute when I finished university, four floors of cancer research, and I got to know many of them fairly well. I was amazed at how hard these people worked, and remember they have no boss. A researcher in Canada pretty much does what they choose to, but they're their own worst bosses. So I hate it when I hear all these cooks on the internet how cancer cures exist but the doctors hide them because big pharma says so. Most researchers I met were doctors too. They also have big egos, are idealistic, and are very ambitious. I have a hard time believing anyone can dictate their agenda.
I'd get the covid vaccine if I got the chance, not because I think it's been really well tested, but because I don't want the alternative: to end up with jello lungs.
