The so-called storm we had last night, dropped 10 cm or 4” of wet snow. I may clean up the most used places and hope the rest melts away.

Probably a day to a day and a half. We got a lot of rain here. We got just enough snow last night to color the lawn white but it was mostly melted by the time we got up.

Winter snow cleanup - been a busy few days moving snow around the house trying to avoid the springtime water feature in the basement... :violin: The mild spell we had in Southern Ontario the last few days and a bit of rain yesterday made for quick melting of all the snow we got in the first part of March...

Doesn't help that neighbours like to shovel the snow off the pathway to their utility room up against my house :cuss: ,

Or that somebody (Me) keeps shaking snow off the roof of the tent garage and it ends up in a big snowbank along the sides that swallows everything... :headbash:

One advantage to not working at the moment and being around to clean things up... No puddles this year! Bonus! - and the snow's almost gone (still time for one ore two more storms though)

I hear you Gerry! Your neighbours want to make sure you don't get bored in your retirement perhaps. :109:

We got a couple of inches maybe, already melting in the sun. The 444 said don't insult me with that. My new boss, The Thumb said don't even think about it. 🤷‍♂️

It’s looking like this will end up being a winter with no real snow to speak of around here. Mid 20’s today with a few flurries but the 10 day forecast shows us climbing and staying in upper 50’s and 60’s so I hoping spring is almost here!

@RoamingGnome I was getting claustrophobic looking at your pictures and seeing a neighbor that close to you! Im thinking you guys will be quite happy once you move to the country. It’s really nice to have some room around you, plus you can make as much racket in the shop as you like and it won’t bother anyone!

Hehe. I’d shovel it back. But ya I know. Close quarters there Gerry. Country be better when you get there.

I was lucky in the two places we own. But lately the people are getting closer. And of course they are the new type people. Your land is my land, they seem to think . But they don’t pay any thing. No respect for nuthin.

There was a saying that went " Good fences make Good neighbours " . With the new type of people this truer than ever .
