Not long ago we had almost 2' (50 cm ) here in a few days . Now it is almost all gone . Fully expect it to be all gone by tomorrow as we are getting full sun and high of 11 C (51F) today . It is hard to do cold start tests when it is that warm :violin: . Oh well just might have to take a couple of days off an work on my tan

I think Mother Nature has had a little Christmas cheer today . In the span of 6 hours , I saw - calm and sunny , rain , hail , sleet , snow , high winds , heard thunder once , and now it is dark and the wind is howling . I think :hitsfan: tonight , they are calling for 8-12"/ 20-30cm of the frozen 4 letter word tonight . I just hope the :wife: gets home from work before it gets to bad .

I hate days like that! Time to find some indoor activities for sure. Ma nature hasn’t thrown that at us yet. She just can’t seem to make up here mind on what the temperature should be around here. 66F yesterday, 33F today, hard to get acclimated to winter like that!

You win the crappy weather of the day award! :congrats:

Please feel free to take as many of those awards you want!

90 kilometre SE winds here this morning and rain. 10C Power is still on but has flickered a few times. After hurricane Fiona I seem to get nervous now about winds. Still dark out so can’t see if any damage.

9000 electric customers without power. Schools delayed. And reports of trees on roads in places. Wind has died down now. Still raining. I didn’t lose power yet.

I lost power for 1.5 hours yesterday. It was raining very hard and very windy. It was nice to have a back up generator turn on automatically. I only have to reset the time on a few clocks which go to 12 when the power goes off. It was a big expense when we purchased the Generac, but we seem to have power outages frequently so it was worth it.

Keep the :peace: :cop:
