It's your fault Noel, you put that mower deck on, that's all it takes.

Well we woke up to about 1/2" snow at 7am. Only for it to snow rain sleet mix and ended up with a heavy 8-9" of snow. I feel like letting mother nature take care of cleaning up the driveway at this point. We lost most all of our snow with the warmer Temps and now everyone with snowmobiles will enjoy another day out on the trails before it melts.

Well, nothing happening here yet with the storm. Maybe it’ll go away. :D

We set a record here in MN for 5 straight months of 10+ inches of snow each month, at least since they started keeping records.

Temps have been 10-15 degrees below normal. So the snow is melting mostly on clear sunny days. The frost must be out in a lot of areas, as the normal mini rivers from the last 3-4 days, are just small puddles. And last week I blowed a path out to a dead tree, and was blowing some mud. Instead of cutting that tree last fall my buddy waited till he was out of firewood :pullhair:

Beautiful sunny day here. Snow melting and flooding me at the bottom of the hill. 🤷‍♂️ can't win.

So the storm yesterday only left 5cm or less. Which is good. I guess. Better than 20cm. Hopefully that’s it for this winter and we get on to warmer weather.

Had to block off and back drag the lower driveway section in front of the shop last week as it became soup . First time ever for that bad .

Part of my yard was that way for many years. Luckily I was able to hand dig a 150 foot or so ditch through the neighbors wood line. Now the water has a nice straight run downhill to a swamp and drainage ditch about 20 feet lower in elevation  With the neighbors approval the ditch was dug deeper and wider than needed and the soil relocated to fill in several mosquito hatcheries :69:
