That's 3-5 times all snow storms combined this year.
Going out to move my tractor at lunch time. Hopefully it starts... hasn't moved in 3 months.
Never thought I'd be so excited to see snow
I'll probably take the kids outside too. Might have to build a snowman. My little one (21 months old) has been very concerned that "Frosty melted".
Fingers cross your tractor starts Matt!

We had 0C/32F yesterday, lots of light too. What a pleasant day. Had to take off my jacket.

My boys just love the snow, and I must say me too. One evening a few days ago, it was maybe -4 or -6C (maybe 21F) I could not get them in, playing on a mound of snow with their "font en loaderts" :))

Amen to that Dave! It'll make me happy to see them steal all my tractors and push and dig dirt and wrench, rather than play around on the phone. Hope that comes true and I certainly do my best for it to happen! :smash:

Eugen my tractor took 5-6 seconds of cranking and fired up normally on the first try. That's about double what it normally takes but no complaints here. I put a good 300CCA battery in about two years ago replacing the 230CCA? battery which was about 4 years old. The 300CCA battery definitely cranks that little 16HP Vanguard engine with more authority. The 4 year old 230CCA battery went into my generator (also a 16HP Vanguard).

Good to see your boys are having fun playing in the snow and hopefully staying warm.

I got 3" of wet heavy snow Monday night into Tuesday morning. I used my tractor but it was hardly worth the time to rearrange the garage twice. Most of Tuesday was above freezing, Wednesday hit 40F and Thursday and Friday hit almost 50F. The snow is long gone. I did get the kids outside for about an hour to play in the snow bit the snow had turned to a light rain at that point.

Hehe. That could be true Dave. They are running out of gimmicks to get more ratings. Hehe.
About 10cm here Dave. Nova Scotia got 30cm in one place that I know of.
I guess I’ll have to get something out this morning and clean it up, maybe, hopefully for the last time.
But really can’t complain about the snow. We didn’t get any major amounts this winter.
About 8 snow events this year. All less than 15cm, average about 10cm each. And most of those had rain or ice pellets in them.
Last nite snow fall was with out any rain. Was -6C all nite. So fluffy dry snow today. Easy to move.

Snow advisory today here. Forecast is calling for snow later around dinner time. I need to get out to the shop and bring in some firewood. I've doing some needed work on the 644lbh to get it ready for spring. I changed the hydraulic oil and with the machine elevated there are a few issues with the banana control plate that need attention. :peace: Harry
